Boys and Girls Cross Country Summer Camp
Dates: 06/08 – 07/11 & 07/27 – 08/08
Monday – Thursday & Saturday.
Time & Location: 6:30am – 8:30am at Fullerton High School Track. Some days will be changed to another location in Fullerton to utilize our training area. Student-athletes will also be invited to select evening fun-run competitions.
Suggested Donation: $100.00
Notes: Summer training is essential for success when competing in Cross Country in the Fall. Our official season begins in late August and runs through the middle of November. The conditioning that student-athletes participate in during the summer will more than prepare them for the 10-12 meets held throughout the fall months and prepare them for any winter or spring sports they plan on trying out for.
Topics Covered: Student-athletes will be taught the basics of aerobic running, form efficiency, hill strength work, light speed training principles, drills, weight training, stretching routines, psychological and mental toughness in distance running, the basics of the sport of cross country, and nutrition.
What you need: Running shoes and athletic shorts.
