Game #22 League #10 February 4, 2020
Fullerton @Buena Park Lost 2 – 1 OT
Last League game of the season at Buena Park, who is always tough to play at home.
Fullerton scores first, in the 20:00 minute on a pass from Joshua Espinoza to his brother Joseph. Both teams move the ball up and down the field and make it exciting by taking shots on goal. Patrick Bulubenchi starts in goal replacing two injured seniors and makes a number of awesome saves. But 1:00 minute before the half ends Buena Park on a 30 yard shot scores and ties the game up at 1-1. The second half sees 6 yellow and one red card issued to Buena Park. The Coyotes with the red card issued play short with 15:00 minutes left in the game. Fullerton finds themselves playing their second over time game in four days. Fullerton dominates, but with 3:00 minutes left in the second over time BP finds the back of the net and the Indians loose a heart breaker in OT 2-1. The loos and a Sunny Hills and a La Habra win drop Fullerton to third place in the Freeway League. The bright spot of the day is that JV wins 2-0 and finishes with a League record of 9-1 and a first place finish. They finish with an overall record of 23-2 and score 97 goals for and only 11 against, CONGRATULATIONS JV well done.
